Workarounds for Tendonitis
I suffered from tendonitis in my forearms and wrists for several years during college, which forced me to devise a number of ways to minimize the use of my hands in everyday tasks such as writing and typing. While I have not found a perfect solution, a combination of voice software, specialized tools, and the use of a whiteboard have dramatically improved my situation.
From this page you can access a number of the workarounds and tools I developed over the years to deal with this problem. If you would like to join, drop a line to: conkerll@gmail.com. Many of these tools make use of voice recognition software for the computer. I’ve been using the popular Dragon Naturally Speaking software along with the NatPython extension tool and the Vocola command generator.
